Kay Kwan is a Melbourne-based motion designer & video editor specialising in vibrant, cartoonish 3D animation and 2D motion graphics. The work leans into playful aesthetics, punchy colour, and cinematic staging.
Kay holds a Master of Animation, Games & Interactivity from RMIT University, with experience across advertising agencies, freelance projects and in-house roles — combining technical craft with expressive storytelling, drawn from a background in film studies and advertising design.
The 360-degree animation Coffin Room was recognised at festivals worldwide, and An Awakening Adventure screened at MIAF and MONSTRA Lisbon. Kay's work has shown across Australia, Canada, the US, Portugal, the UK and Germany.
